The gaming and esports clubs work side by side to allow students to meet and play their favorite games through both in-person and online channels. Through our club, we hope to inspire new gamers and bring together existing ones. We also often host tournaments known as the RCC Mashers Tournaments that are community events for any gamers to come and compete in the Super Smash Brothers Games.

AAWCC-RCC is the Rogue Community College chapter of the American Association for Women in Community Colleges (AAWCC). It was established in 2000 and reestablished in 2004 to encourage professional development for women in community colleges; support women in leadership roles; develop communication among women in community colleges; promote and offer local and state workshops; and disseminate information on courses, programs and services for professional women. This organization is overseen by elected members of the chapter’s membership, called the AAWCC-RCC Board.

AAWCC-RCC is changing and growing. The chapter is seeking to build membership and receive members’ ideas, energy, skills, education and experience as we set and prioritize goals, assess our strengths and weaknesses (challenges), and plan events and fundraisers. We encourage anyone who supports the AAWCC-RCC mission to challenge, champion and celebrate each other to get involved by becoming a member of our local AAWCC chapter as well as becoming a member of the state (AAWCC-OR) and/or national organizations.

As a member of AAWCC at RCC you can:
• Attend monthly and annual AAWCC social and/or educational events.
• Network with a great group of local and state professionals such as OILD.
• Assist with fundraising efforts for student scholarships.
• Take advantage of personal and leadership training opportunities.
• Participate in the annual Josephine County Relay For Life event.

Since the chapter mission includes a commitment to support and encourage each other, it is expected that all members will participate and/or help coordinate at least one meeting, activity or committee fundraising project each year.

It is easy and we would love to have you! The membership period runs from Jan. 1 through Dec. 31. All we ask of our members is that they volunteer 2 hours of their time for one of our fundraising events within the year. You do not need to volunteer all 2 hours at once.

Student membership level is $10/year.
Staff membership level is $25/year.

RCC employees can use their RCC professional growth funds to join our membership! We can help you, just ask us how!

The Associated Student Government of Rogue Community College is the voice for the student body and acts as a liaison for the students to the Administration, Staff and Faculty. We provide communication between campus organizations and the student body to create an atmosphere of open discussion and inclusion. We coordinate student activities that promote student engagement and leadership, maintain campus clubs and organizations, and keep abreast of political issues.

The Creative Writers’ Club offers a workshop atmosphere where everyone has a voice, a place for students who wish to share works — short stories and long, poems, plays, lyrics or essays, with optional feedback. As a forum we will discuss and explore literature, authors, inspiration and the use of literary devices to enhance style and structure. Or just plug in headphones and write with the comforting buzzing drone of voices in the background.

This club seeks to provide a safe space for anyone who wishes to learn, share knowledge and/or simply wants to enjoy a shared workspace for fiber arts projects such as knitting, crocheting, sewing, cross-stitch, embroidery and/or other related crafts and clothing repair. In doing so (as well as sharing local resources for clothing repair and upkeep that is not covered by the previous statement, i.e., cobbling and leatherwork), this club aims to encourage and enable school and community participation in sustainable slow fashion.

Ossie's Cupboard is a free food pantry and hygiene supply service at Redwood (Grants Pass) and Table Rock Campuses (White City). Ossie's Cupboard partners with the Oregon Food Bank, the RCC Foundation, and community partners to provide healthy food and hygiene products to all students and staff at RCC. The team at Ossie’s Cupboard realize that people struggle with food insecurities. Our goal is to provide access to nutritional foods and hygiene at no cost.

The Martial Arts club seeks to provide a space for martial arts practitioners and enthusiasts alike to meet and share their knowledge. In addition, the club seeks to help club participants find local dojos and gyms where they can learn and practice. The club welcomes all styles and forms respectfully and seeks to create a safe opportunity to cultivate and grow club members' passion for martial arts. Whether you practice Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competitively, are interested in LARPing, or simply enjoy watching tournaments, all are welcome to join.

RCC Student Veterans Organization (SVO) is a chapter of Student Veterans of America (SVA). SVO became a chapter of SVA in March 2017. SVA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization focused on addressing the needs and concerns of American military veterans in higher education. SVA is best known for being an umbrella organization for student veterans' groups that advocates for improvements in veterans' educational benefits. The heart of SVA is the student-led chapter. SVA supports a network of over 1,300 schools and over 500,000 military students.

The TTRPG Club aims to gather students and members of the community who enjoy playing tabletop role-playing games and facilitate play between members. We hope to broaden the knowledge of different play systems and encourage social connections, increasing the chances that we can all play and have fun. We have plenty of different genres of games accessible to members, as well as a collection of digital copies of games that includes several meant for solo play.
